Database & Application Migration Assessment Tool
DMAT helps you assess both your applications and database for migration readiness. It supports assessments of applications written in any programming language. As of today, DMAT can perform assessments of Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, CUBRID, and EDB EPAS (EDB Postgres Advanced Server) databases, with targets such as PostgreSQL, AWS RDS & Aurora PostgreSQL, Google Cloud SQL & AlloyDB for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and AWS Aurora DSQL.
Run a single assessment for multiple applications connected to one database
Identify only the database objects used by the selected applications
Compatibility matrix (e.g. Oracle / SQL Server → PostgreSQL supported vs. unsupported features)
Lists SQL statements to rewrite with the exact application file/line reference
Highlights application code changes required for PostgreSQL and other supported target databases
